AgroTrend - A Great Success!

The results for me and the orders for my maps are greater than I obtained from the Good Food and Wine Show in Brisbane and either of the two shows I attended in Toowoomba.

Since the introduction of the Siromer Tractors at the Bundaberg Agro Trend in May 2007, these compact 20 & 30 Hp Chinese built Tractors have generated immense interest in Australia.

Based in Beachmere, just south of the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, The importing Company, Pacific Supply Group, has concentrated on establishing distributorships throughout Australia.

The Directors of the Company, Steve Keeping and Richard Baker, explained that the brand had proved extremely popular in the U.K., where they have been successfully marketed for the last 7 years. Over 1500 Units have been sold in the U.K.

“We have been extremely pleased with the progress so far. During the last 12 months we have appointed Dealerships in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia and Tasmania”.

“Our dealers are able to provide personal service to local customers and are able to Custom build to a certain extent. Following on from the British enhancements, Pacific Supply Group, through its network of dealers will continue to offer upgrades where the customer requires them, and to further Australianise the product to match the climate in which the Tractor is to be used.”

"This was Cochlear Ltd's first attendance at the Agro-Trend Field Days, and what a great initiation!

We had over 200 people attend our exhibit over the three days, so we were kept busy and on our toes raising awareness of our Hearing Loss Solutions for those for whom hearing aids are no longer enough.

Having Merv Webster do the PA announcements, and having the local radio station spruiking for the exhibitors, was inspired, and certainly helped to bring the numbers out to see what it was all about.

The always smiling Col Reynolds and his team were very helpful before, during and after the event, and are to be congratulated for putting together a great weekend.

Looking forward to seeing everyone again next year!"
