Working Cattle Dog Trials

A total of 23 handlers competed in the Bundaberg Agrotrend Working Cattle dog trials with 76 dogs competing in the Open trial, 70 in the Novice & 61 in the Maiden.

The handlers came from Casino & Murwillumbah, NSW & all areas of Southern & Central Qld up to Middlemount, Central Qld.

The trials were hotly contested as most of the dogs vying for points in the Queensland Working Cattle Dog Trial Assoc Open & Novice Dog of the Year top 10 placings were in attendance. This competition concludes with the trial at Springsure Show on 29th & 30th May, 2010.

The cattle used were Charbray, Brahman & Angus/Piedmontese cross and provided excellent competition that entertained the enthusiastic crowd with the scores for placings in all trials ending within points.
